FYI: this post is very long... i'm surprised at how naggy i can b... enjoy reading...
Heehee... went to watch charlie & the chocolate factory yest (audrey jealous..?) haha... very bad of me... anyway, yest my cls went out for lunch together but when they confirmed, i already had a date with dap... cuz that time she wanna pass me my comics but i went to get it from her on wed so fri we went out to "celebrate her end of tests"... originally wanna shop arnd only but town wud b too crowded... cant decide so we went to watch movie... worse was we couldnt decide wat to watch... the ones i wanna watch either no time slot, time slot sux, or location sux... wth... so in the end we went to watch charlie...
dap heard that it was lame but still wanna watch cuz... to each his own... agree!! that's my kind of thinking... cuz last time, there was a lot of time when we wanna go watch one show but in the end change to other shows becuz of those stupid ppl that dun find the show nice/ those stupid movie review... i dun mind their synopsis but their ratings affect others... y cant they just keep their criticism until the movies ended screening... haix... but still, i gotta agree that their review helped ppl save some money if the movie sux to the core lar... but there are some movies that will b appreciate even if they dun...
hmm... i getting very contradicting... dunno wat i'm writing... haix... oh yes... i wanna tok abt the show... haha... forgetful me... anyway, in brief, the show is funny, cute, high tech but the storyline abit lame... but wat can u expect from a story bk..? the bks are there to let u imagine... and roald dahl... haha... well most movie from a storybk have got poor movie's storyline... get it..? well i blur...
hmm... who's charlie..? a very lucky poor kid... his b.dae, he got a chocolate but inside dun have the golden ticks he wanted... actually, 1 yr he can only have 1 chocs (during his b.dae) but his grandpa once worked in the factory (owned by willie wonka, who i feel had a deprived childhood) and wanted his grandson to go in... the grandpa gave charlie a coin which was kept for long to buy another bar, gambling the chance of being able to get the ticks... but disappointing enuf, he din have it... then another day, he was walking and found a note on the snowy ground, he took the note and went to buy another bar of chocs... and lucky once again, he found the ticks... wow... who wud b so lucky to found a notes and a rare chance within a day..? too fantasy le...
they went to the factory, only 5 kids with 1 of their family member... well, willie wonka way of doing stuff really make u thinks he's abnormal... but to me, he do most stuff that kids do, so i really feels that childhood must b damn boring... haha...
to cut things short, in the end charlie is the final winner, and he's going to own the factory... unlike willie, to charlie, family means everything and he helped willie realised that... ending, they lived together wif the desolated hse in the factory...
