Operation
after 2 nites of lack of slp, couldn't rest.. cuz fri my dad had his op.. the op. went on for bout 3~4hrs.. at 2++ hospital called my mum to inform us that op had b completed successfully.. *happy*
they suppose to send him into "high dependancy ward" after the op but no space yet, hence they send him to wait at "recovery ward".. me and mum went down to wait though they'll inform us when the bed at high dependancy is available.. wanna be there at 1st instance..
waited for very long from bout 3+pm till 7+pm.. my mum called and check a couple of time.. they can't let us into the recovery ward.. sianzz.. continue waiting.. at 7+pm they called and say that high dependancy still not available, but doc have checked on him and say that his condition is good hence can go normal ward liao.. thx god.. finally get to visit him at 8pm.. dad still feel unassured and wanna hold all of our hands.. heehee..
well.. arnd 10pm then we went back home le.. rest then next day can come with slightly more energy..
sat me and mum went early in the morning to catch the doc but he even earlier.. we reached arnd slightly before 8am but doc already paid the visit at slightly after 7am.. omg.. accompanied my dad till arnd 2pm then me and my mum went back home for quick shower and lunch.. my elder bro and sis-in-law stayed with dad till my younger bro reached to takeover (he was at a chalet on fri nite hence sat was home slping).. me and mum went back in less that 3 hrs..
on sun, cuz is qing ming for my ancestors' origins.. so me and mum stayed at home to pray in the morning.. so.. my bros were taking the "morning shift".. paternal grandparent was very understanding.. normally the "meal" last for 2~3hrs.. on sun, they finish their food at arnd an hr.. so that we can go take care of father earlier.. brought the food for our own consumption cuz there'll b no one to eat at home..
on mon my bros working.. my mum also working in the morning.. cuz they got stuff to clear and cant take leave.. me.. i pon lessons on sun and mon.. luckily they were lessons for the paper which i wun b taking the exam this sem on june.. hence.. mon morning there were only me.. elder bro drop by just before wrk and lunch and at nite after wrk.. mum bought lunch for us from tanjong pagar.. i was very tired.. cuz i wasnt in the best of health.. think catching the flu bug soon, was sneezing and slight coughing.. wore long sleeve turtleneck plus jacket.. =p my dad and elder bro suggested that i go home to rest in the afternn since my mum will b arnd but i rejected.. lol.. mon morning physiotherapist came agn.. now my dad can walk on his own.. lol.. then all the "pipes" also removed.. dad was damned happy.. haha..
tues morning i went on my own agn.. when i reached, my dad says that the doc assistant came earlier and mentioned that dad will b able to discharged today.. yeah~!! the doc came later and cfmed the news.. lol.. previously already called mum then she changed her half day leave to full day to handle the discharged.. left the hospital at 12+ called a maxi cab home.. now i can also rest and recuperate myself back to full heath at the same time of cuz take good care of my dad at home.. i now very tired~~
anyway.. think on sat, my dad asked whether my bf will b visiting.. haha.. i helped explain that he this wk studying for tests will b quite busy.. today just before discharged, he jokingly say that i should not hang out with him liao cuz he nvr visit.. wahaha.. my dad ar.. at times really like little kid.. lol.. kk.. shall go rest le.. zzz zzz zzz ~ ~ ~

Little Uncle
hmmm.. for those who knew.. i have 2 maternal grandparents.. 1 in singapore and 1 in kuching.. both grandfather are cousins with very close bonding.. singapore de is foster and kuching is blood related.. =p
s'pore grandfather i've nvr seen except his photo which i always saw at guang ming shan temple.. he died bout 35yrs ago.. even my dad nvr saw him before lor.. kuching grandfather i also nvr saw though he died after my o'lvl cuz i've nvr visited kuching till the yr i was turning 20.. reason is due to my s'pore grandma.. she did many things, but since she's gone, nothing really matters.. yar??
both grandma really very diff in character.. shall not discuss abt it..
considering singapore grandparents, my mum got a sis.. which we shall now consider of no relation after my grandma death..
at kuching, my mum got 4 bro and 2 sis.. all elder except a uncle.. this youngest uncle is the easiest to bond with, very fun to b arnd him.. he decided to drop by singapore and stay over at my hse for 2 nites.. went to fetch him at changi airport.. took bus down, my butt hurt from an hr plus bus ride.. including shuttle to budget terminal = worse.. my eldest uncle residing in singapore went to drive us home..
played good host for 2 days by bringing him arnd take photos.. lol.. he also photography lover.. on fri he went over to jb while i was having my lesson.. sian.. cannt send him off myself..
me and mum thinks that he probably deliberately drop by singapore to give moral support to my dad cuz dad is having his op. on fri.. cuz he cud have directly save himself the trouble by flying direct to jb with his crew on fri/sat(he having something on in west m'sia)..
me and mum bring him out and only reach back home at 11++pm on both nites.. tired~~ lol.. well.. we're too used to slping early hence its tiring for us to slp lesser.. zzz zzz ~ ~ ~

death
after the near-death incident on sat nite.. sun afternn my mum went to visit grandma agn.. the doc told her to b prepared.. cuz grandma wun b able to survive sun or mon.. sun nite, went to visit tgt with my mum and bro.. but grandma already unconcious for days..
mon afternn originally wanted to meet my mum at sgh after my lessons to visit grandma but morning while still having my lessons, she's gone.. initially i dun feel anything when i received the msg.. but while i was smsing my friends and dear, i felt like crying.. T_T
as its unnatural death, so we couldn't collect the body till tues.. and on tues, it took quite long as they feel that there's a need for post mortem to be conducted.. haix.. tues afternn she's droven to the parlor.. me and mum went home to change and catch some lunch before proceeding down to the parlor with my bro and father..
wake was held from tues till fri morning before going for cremation on fri noon..
my mum have another sis for my maternal grandparents in singapore.. well, we're not in contact for some very good reasons.. =x
1st day afternn (tues) that sis family wasn't around for the prayer.. =.=
throughout the wake period.. my family is the one busying arnd.. their family, except her elder daughter and son-in-law.. the rest is really KNS!! the 2nd daughter and son always 不见人影..
2nd day afternn got some kind souls offered to "sing" for grandma, and we participate in "singing" tgt.. the sis and husband just entertain their friends while, my mum continue "singing" eventhough her friend also came.. WTH lar~!!
3rd day nite.. the monk came to say prayer.. my family hold joss sticks.. their family christians dun want hold joss sticks.. oki ar.. no prob.. just bow.. but guess wat.. my dad saw (i was blocked by my 2 brothers standing in front of me.. =P) that at times they dun even bow lor.. argh!!
4th day.. prayer before cremation.. i was damn fed-up.. the children behave like the one lying in the coffin is of no relation to them.. damn "sia lan"!!
although not say very good bonding with her, but my family tried doing everything we can for her funeral.. me and my mum cried alot when sending her on her last journey.. that kind of feeling of sending someone u knw off is really bad.. T_T
during everynite, we ordered catering for our consumption and of cuz most importantly for visitors.. when my family eat, we were damn scared that there wun b enuf.. then dun dare eat liao.. then whole nite busy here and there.. that sis husband.. keep "accompanying" his friends to eat.. when the food come, we open to remove the aluminium foil nia, then their family "run" over for the food liao.. i heard that the sis even took off with some chicken essence meant for grandma consumption to boost her recovery so as to give to her husband to drink!!
although everynite we get to rest and slp at home, we were all exhausted.. from slping late and waking early.. plus being emotionally & physically tired..
to end off the note.. thanks to all those that came.. and for those who didn't but send ur regard.. i'm really thankful.. glad to have u peeps as friends..

Happy B'day
yestie suppose to be a celebration for both marc and hungloong.. but.. due to some last min issue, marc couldn't make it.. but we went ahead to meet at dhoby ghaut for dinner at aston at the cathay..
before dinner met up with dear.. went for movie in marina sq.. watched "push".. nothing much abt the show.. =p after movie already approaching 4pm.. suppose to meet my friends 4.30pm at dhoby ghaut, so decided to proceed down 1st..
y so early for dinner?? cause astons do not accept reservation, and their queue is quite alot.. so decided to meet up early to avoid the dinner crowd. but it was still quite a long queue.. =x luckily yn and jason got the meeting place wrong and went 1st to cathay and started queuing, if not dunno gonna take how much longer.. took 2 tables back to back (the only long table enuf to accomodate us would take quite long to wait for..)
they dun have my initial order so i went for their steak agn.. lol.. not bad lar.. just that wanted to try other food since i tried their steak during my previous visit.. =p dear came along.. lol.. i manage to pyscho him to come.. yeah~ can keep me company longer.. he ordered the same as me.. medium rare.. haha.. my friends last time jokingly say i animal like my food bloody.. lol.. i just like the tenderness.. =p eh.. dunno wat happened, but dear's steak came damn bloody.. omg.. is as good as rare nia lor.. 0_0!! told them to change, but end up not much diff, slightly more edible..
after dinner went to Ben&Jerry.. a couple of live band performance.. not bad wor.. anyway.. hungloong paid for the ice-cream although partially paid using the remaining money left from dinner (rounding off error).. so, i helped to collect the money then stuff it to hl.. lol.. initially they worried dunno how to pay him.. cuz knwing him, he'll not accept the money de.. but.. knwing me, my stubborness will not let him suceed.. wahahahaha.. went after him when he tried escaping out the shop.. outside the shop, while persuading him to accept, i suddenly just grab his bag and stuff the money in.. lol..
after ben & jerry dunno go where so decided to chit chat at smu.. majority of them just ended their test wk so quite tired hence quiet.. =x but still, we stayed for quite awhile.. on the way to the smu concourse, we met amelia (another sec sch friend) setting up a stall at smu's bazaar.. well, she's always been in the biz..
after our chit chatting lesson, i suggested going off cuz dear actually got a tutorial discussion online with his clsmates.. really happy that although it was kinda rush for him but he still took the time out to accompany me *touched*
since rushing for time le, so went to hail a cab home.. just before entering cte, my bro called to say my singapore's maternal grandma gone liao.. so quickly told the cab driver to change destination to SGH instead.. with dear permission lar.. cuz he rush for time mah.. however.. when at river valley, receive a call saying manage to revive so my mum and bro not going down liao.. hence change destination back to bishan agn.. =.= think the driver quite pissed bah, he give me the feeling of "black-faced".. poor dear, cuz i think the cab fare quite high in the end bah?? sigh~~

Poor attitude
hmmm.. cause of some academic issues that didn't go as planned.. i wasn't in a very good mood.. and a friend(#1) of mine unluckily caught me at the wrong time and "bombarded" me with qns after qns.. so the timer of my "bomb" went off.. come to think of it, i sort of feel really bad abt it.. i showed a very bad attitude upon her.. *full of apologies*
when i relate to an "old" friend (#2) of mine abt the incident, the reaction i got was wat have that friend#1 done to me?! haha.. i was thinking i believe the one at fault was me but the reaction i get seems to tell me that its the fault of #1.. hahah..
so.. i told the whole story abt #1 and #2 to #3 (another "old" friend who's the clsmate + long time friend of #2 and me).. #3 no reaction but she totally understands y #2 reacted that way.. lol.. reason is.. being friend for 9+yrs.. #2 and #3 and many of my "old" friends had nvr ever see me "blowing up".. me and another gal is believed to not having the "ability" to throw temper/ show attitude/ being frustrated at any of our friends.. and #1 despite knowing me for only nearly 2yrs kenna my "bomb".. oops..
anyway.. its my fault for "blowing up", she's just unluckily enuf to got me at the wrong time.. i sincerely apologise.. (^_^)

hair
i finally dare to really hi-light my hair with red~~~
haha.. well.. i was asked the qns of "y red??" by a friend.. frankly i dunno.. but i think it was the result of ruling out the other colours when i 1st hi-light my hair 4~5yrs ago.. when i 1st decided to hi-light my hair at that time, i wanna red but when i go to the salon, i backed out and decided on a dark red and end result is cannt see that i've hi-lighted.. then once i went to salon to dye, originally i wanna bronze/auburn but i once again decided on some cheshnut colour..
after a couple times of backing out, i finally went to the salon and asked for red.. lol.. hmmm, and for once i asked for the brighter one when given the choice of 2.. =p dunno is cause i went that 1 is academy or that "student" is still very new, he did not like others mix the colour before application on my hair.. he separately hi-light my hair with some light colour before applying on the red on the hi-lighted areas.. he was only told that the colour would end up brighter than intended after the 1st hi-lighting.. haha.. well, he consulted me and i was oki with it.. =x for once daring so dare all the way lor.. lol..
the whole process took me arnd 2hrs.. suppose to meet my mum for lunch de.. but too late.. i got meet her but only to pack lunch.. sorry~~
my parents quite like the colour i hi-lighted.. and now i've gotten used to it too.. lol.. my bro.. abit qian da.. 1st comment: nice colour.. 2nd comment: not for ur age.. diaozz.. i retaliated.. haha.. well, except for friends, outsiders dunno my age, so nvm.. =p then he call me "ah lian".. hahaha.. cannt judge book by cover wor..
meet up with yuan the day after i went for my hi-light to go to the library.. when she saw me no reaction, it was within secs that she notice my hair and her upper body "jumped" at realisation.. lol..
today went for lesson in the morning and my friend was saying nice colour.. then afternn i meet yn to accompany her go her frequented salon.. she keeps referring to my hair when she 1st saw me.. now i wonder.. wat kinda reaction is that?? not nice?? or nice but too attractive that she cant find words suddenly.. =x
well.. gonna b meeting the rest of my cliques soon.. wondering wat kinda other reactions wud i be getting..wahahaha..
