Some might had knw that i went batam during the long wkend of labour day.. it's a family trip organized by the co. my mum wrking in annually and this yr, they made it batam.. my bro was wrking as temp while waiting for sch reopen so the invitation was extended to him (as in the co. also pay for him) then, my mum being a perm staff is allowed to bring along 1 immediate family member for free so i went along.. =)
Batam is a very common place among singaporean so it's nothing special but to me, i've only been there once when i was still very young (cant even remb how old i was then).. so might as well go there and check out lor.. nuthing much there cuz it's a resort but nice scenery.. 1st day was bad cuz the nite before i naughty slept late then morning still need go market early so that we are able to catch the ferry.. then reach there everyone was darn hungry but the lunch wasnt nice so i had very little to eat.. so.. the only "fun" thing is that during dinner, everyone have to wear the sarong they give (in whichever way u prefer).. lol.. nvr wore a sarong before so seek for some ideas frm 1 of my colleague in the HR dept.. then, same as some usual dinner (except that this is bbq buffet =x ) they have lucky draws, karaoke sessions (and sarong competition).. that ends 1st day..
2nd day: only event is a shopping trip to some shopping centre.. that day's lunch is on our own so i pulled my mum and bro to go A&W cuz it cant b found anymore in s'pore (overheard that the shopping centre we going to, have A&W) lol... din buy much cuz after converting currency, the prize for the stuff i wanna are abt the same as s'pore so no pt. buying... instead, my bro bought quite some stuffs cuz his stuff are cheap as compared... argh!! i only bought 1 top and 1 addidas bag.. nvm..
3rd day: breakfast, pack stuff then check out to come back le..

realised that my appetite over there was very gd sia (except during 1st day's lunch) was like eating 2-3 times of my usual amt.. shocked.. either their food is very nice or taste diff so i wanna try.. mayb all of them are buffet so i dun feel so pressurized (hate those 6/8/10 courses dinner).. well, anyway, after the trip, the nxt day is wrk and the most bz period in a mth.. sianz..
